I found this forum while searching for some information regarding the transferability/recognition of certain online degrees.
Having realized very quickly that a traditional B&M school wasn't for me, I dropped out of a small university and enrolled at WGU. After transferring in roughly 20 credits nearly 4 semesters later, I'm very close to obtaining my B.S. in IT with a Security emphasis. My goal is to move on to their M.S. degree IS/IA and find a B&M for an MBA following completion of the M.S.
My question is in regards to be able to qualify for acceptance for a graduate degree. Based on research, it doesn't look like WGU will provide a transcript with a GPA. It's a lofty goal, but I'd like to see if I could qualify/be accepted at MIT for their MBA in Global Leadership and Innovation. It's going to require some hard work, but I think that my professional experience and a few other factors could help my case. Has anyone heard of what schools like this will do if the undergraduate or graduate transcripts do not provide a GPA when there is a requirement for this type of information?
