You can achieve what you want even the relearning of Math, I'm in the same boat regarding Math, I grew up in a very socially disadvantaged area were my primary education was more survival than education, so I understand completely. In order to figure out how much you should be able to get check out https://fafsa.ed.gov/ once you launch the page there is a small box on the bottom right had side for what is known as the "fafsaforcaster" enter your details there and you'll get a forecast about how much money in grant aid you'll qualify for based on your last years salary. You can do it multiple times so don't be afraid about entering your information. At first I was wary of putting my information in. Anyway I'm at work so back to the Balance sheet this morning!
