New To The Game
#1
Hello everyone. I recently finished my junior year at a brick and mortar and decided to test out of my senior year. I originally began my college career as a engineering major and then switched to physics so I have a lot of math and science classes. I didn't really like either of those majors, so I decided to go for some kind of business degree, but at this point I'm just trying to finish as fast as possible without having to take any more classes. Last month I signed up for IC and took two tests. I will be going for more business cleps this month but I'm having trouble finding a degree that will allow me to just transfer in everything I need without the added requirement of taking a capstone or some other kind of class. Here are the credits I have:

Brick & Mortar:

Chemistry I
Chemistry II
Calculus I
Calculus II
Ordinary Differential Equations
Physics I
Physics II
Intro Engineering Analysis
Intro Engineering Computing
Statics and Mechanics of Materials I
Statics and Mechanics of Materials II
Materials (Structure/properties)
Intro to thermodynamics/ Fluids
Intro to Mechanical Design
Intro to Sociology
General Psychology
Intro to Communication
Intro to Music Appreciation
Intro to Film Analysis

AP Credits:

Statistics
English Composition

Clep Credits:

Intro to Management
Intro to Marketing

Does anyone know or think there is a degree in which I could finish up with tests alone. I was looking at the TESC: BSBA in Real Estate but it says it has a Strategic Management capstone. I also wanted to maybe use my math courses and get a Associates in math. I saw TESC: ASNSM in Mathematics. I don't know if I could pick both of these up at the same time or what, like I said I'm new to this whole thing. I don't know if my thinking is off about any of this, but I'm still figuring it out. Any insight from anyone would be much appreciated. Thanks so much.

TESC's BSBA does require a capstone, but the Strategic Management capstone can be completed via testing (the Strategic Management TECEP), and some people on this forum have even transferred an external course to fulfill that requirement (from Penn Foster).

If you don't want to take a capstone or any other class at a college, the BSBA at TESC is really your only option. Real Estate is not going to be test friendly. The easiest BSBA concentration to test out of is General Management. Human Resources Management is going to require at least one class from somewhere. Computer Information Systems is going to require at least one class. You can complete Marketing with a couple of Penn Foster courses. They are self-paced and reasonably-priced. This is all assuming that you don't have the knowledge to complete prior learning assessments. All of the other BSBA concentrations are going to require two or more classes from a college.

Yes, you can complete the associate's and bachelor's at the same time at TESC. A lot of your credits are not going to be used for the BSBA since it has little room for free electives, and engineering courses don't count as general education. There are some technical associate's degrees that could use your engineering credits, but they all require the APS capstone. I think only the AA, ASBA, and ASNSM programs lack a capstone at the associate's level. I would point you to the BSAST in Technical Studies as a possibility, but that requires Current Trends and Applications which is basically a capstone that has to be taken at TESC.

If you have at least 90 hours of credits not including the CLEP, you would be an excellent candidate for a Bachelor of General Studies in Arts and Science from Athabasca University in Canada, which does not require a Capstone. You would just send in your transcripts, pay ~$100 USD to apply, then another ~$900 USD in fees to graduate. You appear to have enough UL credits for them.
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.
