Ruddigore Wrote:I for one LOVE the new site. I don't know how many times I've lamented the clutter of the MyEC page. When I saw they were upgrading it, I hoped it would look as good as the preview picture. IMO, it looks even better.
I think I'd have a stronger opinion of it if I had to use it more than... well... just logging in to see if anything popped up to cause my conferral to be delayed. If I was still taking classes through them and whatnot and actively using it to communicate with my counselors, that would be one thing.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.

I like the new site, too. I think it will make a better first impression for new students. All large sites take a while to navigate and find/read all of the relevant content.

I'm done with EC courses so I wont miss this personally, but the old course catalog offered a detailed syllabus in pdf for each course. I found it really useful for choosing classes and preparing.
Otherwise it's OK. MyExcelsior is laid out better. The library is more usable.

I'm taking a class through EC right now, so I have to get on the page quite a lot. The new page is definitely superior for that.

I didn't notice that they'd removed the syllabi. That's disappointing because it gives a good idea of what to expect of the course, though 3 of the courses I had taken differed from the syllabi, as published in the course description, due to changes that the developers made. It was different enough for on that it caused me to drop the class.

I like the signet style that they are finally offering. I may actually purchase one when I finish.
As far as the website goes, I like it.
