Anybody in the know as to what new courses they are adding every month because I'm just not seeing it I guess. I want to try this service, but there is nothing really catching my eye as of yet, and I've been lurking for months now. I have seen some new additions, but not at a rate of 2-3 a month. Can anyone show me different? Also, is there a way to help with getting more study materials in instantcert as a user? I am clueless of the process.
Thanks, Rob

Thanks for joining the forum, welcome! Since IC has many study guides for most CLEP, DTTS, six ECE exams and a TEC exam, this usually suffices for most people who are testing out of their degree. I, for one, know first hand that Steve (webmaster@instantcert.com) will add new guides if the demand is there; he has added several ECE Psych exams in the last 8 months alone.
Is there a certain test that there isn't a guide for? What degree are you going for?
Here is a link to a post that went on last week
http://www.instantcertonline.com/forums/...start.html, it should answer many of your questions on how to use IC and various forum member's study techniques. Let us know if you have any more questions and please be sure to use the "Search Function", you will usually find that most questions have been asked/answered several times before. Welcome again! Lee

I just completed a degree in Bio from Excelsior... but I cant think of anything taht could be tested out of exceot Bioethics. Since both an upper and lower level lab are required for teh major, even teh basic CLEP is not useful to a Bio major. What Biology exams are you referring to?

i think pathophysiology caught my eye, but it may be to difficult to use this study method successfully, perhaps the other courses were not from ece or dsst though, i did find several in the biology field on-line that were able to be tested out of. i really need to get all this information in one place as i am in need of some more work and i just now (last month) officially began getting back to my studies. my problem is that i have roughly 180 credits and many of those are either medical technology, nursing, or respiratory care, so putting a degree together is going to be tricky. i did enroll to excelsior just to finish a bachelor's in the liberal studies, which hopefully, afterwards i may continue on to my graduate studies in epidemiology. thanks everyone for the help on this thread.

You're right, greatlabsguy, ECE does have a few: Microbiology, Pathophysiology and Anatomy and Physiology. I don't know that there is a great deal of demand for cards for those courses, however. I didn't use any of them in my biology degree. I think they are mostly used by nursing majors. Demand seems greatest in general education electives and fields you can get a degree almost entirely by exam in: Business and Psychology. Even if enough tests existed in biology, there are lab requirements in order to major in it.

It would be great if IC added some nursing exams.

I agree! I would love IC to do some of the Excelsior Nursing flashcards. *hint-hint, wink-wink, nudge-nudge. :p

Are there any nursing exams that aren't too science heavy, that would work well with our study approach?
