Nervous about macro- and microeconomics CLEPs
#11
commdiver Wrote:Thank you for all of the replies. Do you think I should get the REA books or are the books I have enough?

I just finished The Complete Idiot's Guide to Economics and understood it, so that is good news. I am starting on the PowerPoint slides tomorrow.

I think that the books you have should be enough, especially if you are understanding them well. But I would suggest taking a practice test to determine whether you need more studying.

As others have mentioned, you have all the resources you need already. I came in with no prior knowledge of economics: I studied IC and the ppt videos, and passed above 60 on both exams. I did it in two days of study each (10 hrs per day). After studying, your best barometer will be the Peterson practice tests. If you are hitting 75% correct on those exams, take the CLEP and you will pass above 60.
