I'm taking the Walden Tempo Psychology program currently. I enjoy the content and topics but when it comes to writing I've always struggled and some of the SMEs are more strict then others. I can learn on my own time but I just to get the degree to get a raise at work. Can anyone recommend sites or other sources that'll just help me writing the Competencies?

ASU's English Comp classes are pretty good. Their Universal Learner English Comp 1 is self-paced but 2 is not. They'll try to charge you an upgrade fee to take the classes for credit but that's absolutely not necessary in your case. Ignore the warnings and keep going anyway.

Once you get the 'how to' basics down remember that it all comes down to hitting the marks that the rubric laid out.
