Hi everyone.
I am taking the DSST Statistics test tomorrow. My school does not accept Dantes. However, the program director of the MPA told me that if I pass this test, he will make this an option for all upcoming graduate students. He called it :"A pilot test". You can imagine the weight on my shoulders. Now, since my school does not accept dantes, there is no code for it. Can I still take the test? Will they give me a print out where it shows that I passed? This way I can show it to the program director and he can give me a waiver for the course?
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Yes you can take the test even if your school doesn't take it you can have it sent to another school or just leave it on your DSST transcript. They should give you a copy of your test results showing the ACE recommended passing score and what you got. if they do not offer you this ask for it. With DSST you will also get a user name and password that if I remember correctly you can also get an unofficial print out there.

Yes, you will always be able to view your score and then select "print" to get a print-out (it is not automatic, you must select this upon completion). The test center administrator should have you enter "7777" in the field for the score report/designated institution. Some test centers will contact the DSST program folks via email to notify of the correct institution name and mailing address; others will have the candidate take responsibility for this. They will need to know your name, the exam you took, the date you took the exam and then the complete mailing address. There should be no additional cost for this service as long as you entered the 4-digit code in your registration page (7777).

Hi all,
I've been a memeber of this site for a few months but I really haven't done much in the way of preparing for my stats test. I want to really dig in and get going so I can test in the next few weeks. My issue is, and excuse the dumb question, I can't seem to find useful posts in stats. Can someone please tell me exactly where to go on the site to get the information. Sounds rediculous, I know....but thank you!
