I am trying to pass out of some Gen Eds, and go ahead and get my bachelors. What CLEP tests do you recommend for me to take to equal the following credits? I was looking at the following classes.
History U.S. I: Early Colonization to 1877 3
Social Sciences and History 6
History = 9 credits
Introductory Psychology 3
Introductory Sociology 3
Psychology = 6 credits

I agree that these are good choices, but please double-check the written policy at your school. If you need psychology specifically and not a social science in general, then Sociology may not count. Also, the Social Science & History CLEP may not count as 6 credits of History.

As Nap said, check with your school what they will accept so as not to waste time and money!

The
Official Clep Study Guide and
Princeton's Cracking the Clep have extremely helpful practice tests. The REA guides for the subjects are great as well.
Clep Exams - Free CLEP Study Guides at Free-Clep-Prep.com is a great free resource.

For these tests, would speedy prep or instant cert help me the most for online prep?

Definitely check with your school that Social Sciences & History will count towards the history credits required before you take that CLEP. As for study resources, try these:

I don't know about speedy prep, but IC has helped many people pass these exams.

I didn't have IC when I took these tests, but I did have a version of SpeedyPrep. It was especially good for US History 1 and Intro Sociology.
Psychology 101: Intro to Psychology Course - Free Online Video Lessons | Education Portal was excellent for Intro Psychology—it and the Official Clep SG were all I used to pass.
