Navigation of admission process in TESU
#1
Hello
I have completed almost all of the courses required for my associate degree from TESU. Now I enrolled in TESU and got an email today saying that I have 2 options to enroll
1) per credit tuition plan .
2) Comprehensive tuition plan.

Now my question is - How do I make a decision .? I'm out of state student and I have completed all of my courses/credits from Study.com and Straighterline based on the study plan laid down by some noble folks on this forum .

How do I navigate this .. Like is there a step by step process for someone who has completed all the courses and then takes admission to TESU and wants the credit transferred from ACE credit to TESU so that they can get their degree and start applying for job.

Thank you in advance.

The Comprehensive tuition plan is $9,820 for up to 36 credits.

The per credit plan is $500 per credit. If you are transferring in all the credits from ACE you would need to pay the residency wavier at $2000 and take TESU's capstone course for $1,500.

So, since you are transferring all your credits from ACE, the per credit plan would be cheaper at $3,500.

If you have completed all your courses, your next steps would be to send your ACE transcript to TESU, and enroll.

Yeah, you want to go with the Per Credit option. Review the requirements on their web page.
Read through their "Graduation Page" as well, you need to do everything it says.

Just to clarify Simran... Are you only trying to complete an AA at TESU?

Since you have already credits at study.com, you will get preferential pricing for the residency waiver and you won't have take the cornerstone class.

If you're only seeking an AA, you won't need to the cornerstone class @ $1500. It is a requirement for a Bachelors.

The Cornerstone is only $300, not $1500, and with the Study.com affiliation, the Cornerstone for Bachelor's is waived.

Whoops I meant to write capstone is for a bachelor's... Cornerstone is for Associates (and hopefully waived since Simran has study.com affiliation).
