For all of you Jersey boys and girls:
Brookdale Community College (Tests) is an absolutely fantastic place to test. Their per exam testing center fee is well worth it as they DO NOT require one to make an appointment prior to test day. What I mean is if you get a hair up your behind to take "Here's to your health" cold during their normal business hours and happen to have $110 on you you can drive over, take the test and be done with it.
Granted, appointments are key for procrastinators like myself sometimes but the convience is unmatched and they appear to be the only DSST place I could find with in an hour of Maywood, NJ, my hometown that had all of their poop in one sock. Anyway, just food for thought.
Borough of Manhattan Community college is convienient for me for CLEPS (I work in NYC) as they offer them twice weekly during the academic year. I took one test there and was satisfied with the facilities and the staff.
William Paterson University was less than stellar. Computer crashes, a cramped testing room, and incompetant proctors ruled the day.
Anyway, just some food for thought for all you Jerseyites out there!
