I have 2 free electives to go. I have done 25 FEMAS, but these last two I'm having a ton of trouble passing (and yes I have gone over the material). I just heard about NFA courses. Does anyone have any info on if TESC accepts any of theses courses as free electives? I think they are thru ACE, but I'm having trouble pinning down how they work. 'Thanks,

The three NFA courses that TESC accepts are:
+Fire Service Supervision Q318
+Hydraulics Q137
+Community Education Q118
They are indeed free electives. Once you complete the course, you add it to your ACE transcript, ACE will verify it with the NFA, and it will be added to your transcript. The first transcript costs $40, any after that are $15.

I took two of them 4+ years ago, as I recall the study method was very similar to that of FEMA.

It appears that TESC has changed which NFA's they accept many times. Are the 3 you suggested current? I couldn't find a 2013 list.
Thanks so much!

All three course are currently ACE approved, so I don't see why TESC wouldn't accept them.
