In June 2006 I finally decided to go back to college and take it seriously for once. While I was determined, I thought that my graduation wouldn't happen until late 2008. I needed 60 credits to finish my B.A. In early November I finally got curious enough about CLEP tests to actually see what they were. I figured out that I there were CLEP and DANTES exams for 36 credits of the 60 I needed. Being in the military, they are free for me. I figured I'd attempt to take them all and if I was lucky I might knock off 4 or 5 classes. I even came up with the best case scenario: I'd pass enough exams to graduate in July 2007. That equated to 30 credits. The other 30 of the 60 I needed for residency. Fat chance of that happening, or so I thought.
After passing Principles of Management, Human Resources Management, and Organizational Behavior I realized how sweet of a deal testing could be. I still didn't think I'd pass that many though. I already knew the first three. Next came Statistics and in desperation for some kind of study material I happened upon InstantCert, and this message forum.
All I can say is WOW!!!
The material in the flashcards is second to none in my opinion. Its everything I needed to pass Stats and the remainder of my exams. Yet for as good as InstantCert is, I believe this message board is an even better resource. I wouldn't have kept with it as long as I did without the support of Iwannapass, Inteljustice, ShotoJuku, and Dhlvrsn just to name a few. The pointers, the encouragement, and a thousand other things kept me motivated to finish my "measly" 30 credits; when some of you guys have earned entire degrees.
Yesterday, I passed Microeconomics with a 59. Yesterday I also finished testing out of all the credit I needed to in order to graduate this July.
Thanks to everyone.
