I took the Spanish CLEP a few yearas back at my old community college and scored 100%. However, they only awarded me 8 credits. Supposedly TESC awards 12 credits for a good spanish clep score, but what i dont understand is... will TESC AUTOMATICALLY add 4 more credits to my transcript once they receive my community college transcripts with the 8 CLEP credits on them, or do I have to do anything? Thanks everyone!

To get credits for CLEP, DSST, or AP scores, you must request a score transcript to be sent directly to the institution in which you're enrolled. This applies even if you had been enrolled elsewhere before and had credit granted by that institution, because this kind of credit doesn't transfer. You must arrange to send the scores yourself! Your new institution will then grant credit based on its own guidelines.
In other words, click here:

Order a transcript to be sent to TESC, which will then grant you credits based on your score and their own guidelines. You'll get your 12 credits.
