My TESC BALS degree plan
#1
Here is my degree plan. I primarily selected courses that I thought would be the easiest and quickest for me to complete. However, there are several other courses I plan on taking even after finishing this degree, because I'm interested in the courses, e.g. calculus and physics at StraighterLine, but those will take longer, and I wanted to concentrate on quick and easy to get the degree out of the way first. Hopefully, if someone else is interested in a quick and easy degree plan this may help them too.

Yes it is. There is another post on this site that indicated TESC counted DSST Business Ethics and Society as PHI384, but it is normally counted as BUS311, so I'll get it pre-approved right before I take it just to be safe. By the way, I believe the DSST Ethics in America is counted as PHI287, which isn't upper level, so it won't work for my degree.

It's nice to see a new plan for this degree.

Since you are taking the Biology CLEP, consider the Natural Science CLEP, too, which is 50% Biology.
AS in 2010 and BS in 2013 at Excelsior College - Transcripts and Costs
MS Biostatistics in 2019 at Texas A&M University - Graduate School

That's funny, as I actually had this in my plan originally, but I took all the ALEKS math courses, so I took out.

Yes, I wasn't sure if it would be the best fit for you either. It could bump out SL CJ and DSST Computing, if you haven't taken them already. Also, double-check CJ; sometimes it counts as Social Science and sometimes as a free elective. I'm not sure which one in this case.

It looks like the edit button disappears after a while because it doesn't look like I can edit my original post.

I've just started the testing process, so I don't have many done. These are the ones I have done so far---

CLEP ENC101/102 College Composition w/Essay <-- Still waiting to get my score back
ALEK MAT115 Intermediate Algebra
ALEK MAT121 College Algebra
ALEK STA201 Intro to Statistics
FEMA -- 30 courses

I'm currently doing this one now
ALEK MAT129 Precalculus

I'll do the CLEP MAT101/102 College Mathematics next and be done with math for a while. I plan to do the Humanities/Literature items after that as I have done some studying on these subjects, but I tried one of the ALEKS courses and got side tracked.
