My Next Three CLEP
#21
Maniac Craniac Wrote:As of this very minute, I have set in stone my next three CLEP. I have decided to post this bit of unimportant information as a way to artificially create some accountability. Now that this has been announced, I have to do it, or I will lose face as an anonymous user on an internet forum :roflol:

1. Western Civilization I
2. Western Civilization II
3. Principals of Macroeconomics

Each of these three exams are a sextuple whammy! You know what that means? You get another list! What all of these exams have in common:

1. There is a text book available at my local library.
2. There is a free practice Peterson's test.
3. There is a study guide at free-clep-prep
4. It is one of the exams specifically stated as being accepted for credit at University of Wyoming.
5. It fulfills a Major requirement for my BA in Social Sciences.
6. The subject is awesome, and I can't wait to start studying.

BOOM! There can be no doubt that these are the exams for me to punch out in the month of October. Just wait till I can impress my friends with my extensive knowledge of world history Smile

I'm working n Astronomy now, but you just gave me the kick in the butt I need to make Western Civ I my November goal.

How about someone who has her Bachelor's at the same age I graduated from High School? Yeah, I would feel a whole lot better if I didn't compare myself to her!

EDIT: No wait, your goal was to get your Master's at the same age I graduated from high school, wasn't it?

I'm not sure if I will do all 3 in October, but I do want to get them all done before the enrollment procedure is finalized with UofWy, since I may need them as prereqs for upper level courses.

Well, mine is more b/c of oppotunities I've been given. Being homeschooled, finding out about CLEPs early, etc. I'm sure if you started taking CLEPs at 15, you would have been done by 16 too. I finished in 9 months, but unlike most people on here, I was able to devote nearly all day everyday to studying. And then of course, there's God's blessing. I KNOW He has His hand in all of it and I could not have done it w/o His great blessings. And as for the Master's, that's on hold for an indefinite amount of time. But 10 months at least while I go to Kairos Discipleship school. I'm just chasin' the Wild Goose. (BTW: For all of you who haven't read Wild Goose Chase by Mark Batterson that means Holy Spirit. But you should read it Wink ).
