Patten has made some grading updates over the last year that aid in the ability to move through some of those adventurous exams.
This is pretty significant if the struggle is real with some of these exams and if one just does not work in your favor, it's nice to know that you are still moving towards a successful graduation.

Quote:We updated the grading policy to consider your graded exercises, final project and final exam to calculate your final grade - so a single failure on an exam or project doesn’t necessarily mean failure in the overall class. Students who have obtained a cumulative GPA 3.0 for graduate students can graduate without the need to repeat a class with a low grade.
