This is a for-profit college owned by Kaplan, Inc. :ack: It started as Hesser College in 1900 and was bought out by Quest Education Corporation in 1998. Kaplan acquired Quest in 2000. But, the good part is that the school is cheap, self-paced, regionally accredited, offers online programs, and has a partnership with Straighterline. They charge $2,400 per 20-week term (includes book fee) for up to 5 courses. Most students take 4 courses per term. Each additional course past 5 is $300 (includes book fee). If you're a Straighterline student, you qualify for a partner grant. Currently, they only offer information technology and business administration degrees online. Liberal studies and criminal justice are available online through something called LearningSphere.

You have to receive a minimum score on the Wonderlic SLE, an IQ test that's best known for being used in the NFL, in order to be admitted. It sounds like they are sort of like WGU in that you need to transfer in credits before you start your first course. They accept CLEP and offer PLAs. They sort of remind me of Patten University in how they started out as a traditional college and was bought out by a for-profit company, but still managed to maintain some integrity. However, unlike Patten University, they participate in Title IV funding.
