Best wishes Sam on your test today!
Sorry I completely forgot about my post in this thread back in December... For some reason, DF doesn't send me thread subscription updates.
I guess it's a little late to tell you which book I used now!

That's fine, I would like to know if it's the one I've been using (Money Banking and Financial Markets by Roger Miller/David VanHoose), for interest sake. I'll be taking it tomorrow; today's my review/practice test day!

It was "The Economics of Money, Banking, and Financial Markets" 9th edition by Frederic Mishkin
Turned out to be a really good, interesting book!

Today's practice, my first, other than the 10 Q type, scored a 57%.
Not bad for a first, but I'm cramming all the info I missed down my throat, and I think my score should leap quite a bit further on tomorrow morning's vital practice test. Now to get some sleep!
Remember to be praying for me tomorrow!
Thanks,
- Sam

To let you all know, I DID pass!! But just barely; pass is 48, I got 49 =(
For anyone who's taking it, do take the Money and Banking DSST practice test for $5! I didn't, and only used 2 other free practice tests that were of a dif. type of content than the actual exam. These practices also had a few math problems that weren't hardly on the actual test.
Things I noted, not covered in the flashcards were similar to what a lot of people have said:
Know what Regulation Q (Reg-Q) means, and with that, the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933.
Know what a Credit Crunch is (a type of Disintermediation).
Know about FED Funds, and the FED Funds R.

A pass is a pass. Congratulations, Sam!
