I just skimmed through the article, it's a Bachelors of General Studies with an emphasis in Business. They're going to see if other concentrations or emphasis options are available and hopefully pass those through if there are enough enrollment. Only 25 students for the first batch I guess... let see how this works, I think it's a good idea for those who are in the state. For those out of state, the tuition is expensive. Masters degree options look alright, as the price is the same for in or out of state...

Honestly, if "BGS from a B&M state university" is what you want, I'm not sure it gets better than Southern Utah's program for costs, 75 USD a credit.

But do they accept ACE credits? A BLS at UMPI can be had for $2800 (or less) plus the cost of ACE credits.

Looks like only 15 credits using their PLA:
The Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) course provides an opportunity for you to earn up to 15 upper-division elective credits by developing a portfolio or written summary of your personal and professional experiences. Credit can be earned for past learning experiences including, but not limited to, employment, job training, service or humanitarian trips, certifications, licenses, and more.

This is a PLA not ACE credits. PLAs are notorious for being extremely time consuming and often not worth the work involved. They're kind of ridiculous at some schools. Some schools require written documentation from past employers and letters from managers - things not always easy to get especially when they're a past employer.
