I am getting ready for the MIS DSST. I took the Peterson's practice test and I got a 50...
So I still need work but I want feedback. What did you do to study for this test? Was the actual test easier than Peterson's? What did you use other than IC to study? Any and all advice is much appreciated.
Thanks,

Thanks,
I studied for MIS and IS&CA together, so I used the IC flashcards for MIS and IS&CA until I was able to get 95%+ on everything, and also reviewed the recommended links on
free-clep-prep (mainly for the history stuff.) If you do the same you'll pass without issue. I didn't use the Peterson's practice tests for those exams so I can't tell you how it compares to the real test.
Btw, while I was researching for the test I also found a handful of free online textbooks (
here,
here and
here) that all seem pretty well written. Those will provide a lot of extra info if you have the time and really want to learn the material well.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23
