Looking at the information, the enrollment check list calls out a CIB, but then says only for registered Native Indian Students only. Sounds like there may be some additional benefits not readily apparent for having a CIB, but not required.

It looks like it is to be eligible for Finance Aid for Native Americans.

They also offer a MS in Biology and I do not see a price difference in credit hours.

I noticed that. Talk about playing the race card, literally.
I'm sure it can be circumvented somehow, money is money.

I just called the Admissions office on the phone and spoke to somebody. Anybody is allowed to enroll, regardless of race or ethnicity. The CIB or tribal enrollment card is only necessary to unlock certain types of financial aid funding.

They offer some upper level accounting courses online, which could be interesting for any accounting students. This term I see government and non-profit accounting, for example. Also some upper level business management courses, including MIS and HR. Could potentially be a solution for somebody looking for upper level business courses at a good price.

I decided to look and see if any of the courses from Dine were accepted at the University that my son attends. I found the following courses from Dine would transfer: Financial accounting, Managerial Accounting, College Comp 1, College Algebra.

at $55 per credit hour, this could be a good choice for some people

Completed:
TAMUC BAAS Org Leadership
SJC AAS Automotive Technology

I tried registering a few years ago but because my high school transcript had a different middle name they insisted I provide my social security card.  I had no issue giving my SSN but I never had a card and could not figure out how to get the SSA to issue me one.

Maybe this was asked already, but do they do online classes, or just in person?

Most are in person, some are online. See link in first post for current schedule to get a feel for it.

Is A Columbia Degree Worth 70 Times A Dine College Degree? (Forbes)

Quote:We often hear about the rising costs of college. But did you know you can attend Dine College (a Native American Tribal College) for mere $725 per year? Meanwhile, a year at Columbia University costs $51,000. We live in a society that says you get what you pay for; however, it seems unlikely that a Columbia University degree could be 70 times more valuable than a Dine College degree.

A 4-year degree will be considered a 4-year degree for most jobs.
