Medical Terminology
#1
Good afternoon dear forum members,

Is it not possible to use Medical Terminology to keep the registration active?

My last registration was August 2024 (also APS-1000), I registered for that course again, but got this email:

We hope this message finds you well. We are pleased to learn you are progressing in your studies. However, in a review of your records, we noticed that there might be an issue with your August 2025 registration. You may have registered for exams that does not apply to your degree program: APS-1000.

In addition to these exams not meeting your degree requirements and delaying your graduation, you may not be eligible for financial aid or military benefits. Please indicate the reason you have signed up for these options by replying to this message.

If we do not hear from you by the Friday before the first day of the term, we will drop your class(es) by 3:00 pm that day.

All the best,

Are there any other alternative?

I still don´t have the money to take the 15 credits term, so I need to gain time (and I have been using the Library resources).

Thanks,
MrPanda

There's a couple of new options that are 1 credit that you should be able to use, if you cannot redo Medical Terminology:

Thanks jg_nuy. I understood that the problem is not about re-doing something, but about having to argue in order to keep registration active. But I could try registering to TES-1120-TE Introduction to Project Management, if they write to me again, it would be too terrible to simply say that I want to keep registration active?

Unless maybe there´s a 3 credits TECEP, that could work, that goes into the BS Operations Management/Human Resources/Finance program. I´ll check the other alternatives, in case Introduction to Project Management also gets turned down.

You may just want to tell them that the course is necessary for your professional growth or something along those terms, not about wanting to keep registration active. Good luck!

I would take one of the other two they recently came out with, if they no longer allow you to register for this class. You may want to tell them you're looking to fill RA electives and replace ACE credits with these TECEPs.

Thank you, then, I´ll try to take:

TES-1120-TE Introduction to Project Management

If that´s also rejected by some reason, I´ll take Calculus III.

After the email they send you, do they still keep your registration?
Maybe was just a warning... If the registration is active... all good, no?

No, they'll remove the class if it doesn't fit any of the degree requirements.

I ended registering in College Geometry, as I need 6 TESU courses anyway (3 upper level math for the BA in Math, both capstones (BA and BSBA) and Applied Quality Management to get the BSBA in Operations Management.

It´s going to be my first TESU course, so I´ll see how it is.
