Saylor Direct Credit process

In order to get ACE credit by taking the Saylor direct proctored exam, can I just study the materials and take the exam right away? Must I do all the quizzes, test, discussions? I’m quite confused since all I want is to read the material and take the exam. Some people say read does practice. I’m seeing the progress blocks in the account and it’s seems long to compete the course. Not sure what that means.  I’m very interested in operations management and project management.

I'd suggest you take the non proctored, find out what you don't know, study those subjects and take the proctored.
