I have always struggled in mathematics for as long as I can remember. I am currently retaking a failed college algebra credit through Aleks.
I need 2 more math courses that need to be in sequence, and have 2 choices for sequences:
1)Calculus 1 & Calculus 2
Or
2) Applied Calculus & Finite Mathematics
For those of you who have a serious problem in math, which of the 2 sequences would you choose? I know Cal 1 & 2 require procs, which makes me a bit weary due to the bulk in information as it is.

Sequence 2 will likely be easier. However, Calc I & II are not really that bad.

Is Applied Calculus & Finite Mathematics both proctored based courses?

Are those absolutely the only 2 choices you have?

Unfortunately, I believe so, it says,:
As an alternative to fulfilling calculus 1 and 2 in sequence, student may satisfy the requirement by enrolling in courses equivalent to Finite Mathematics (MATH 1711 or MATH17X1) and Survey Calculus ( MATH 1712 or 17X2).
My current CC has a transfer guarantee with the prospective university, so I have tried looking helplessly for classes that would show on my CC, so that would later be equivalent to the university, but have come up unsuccessful so far.

Yikes. Saylor has Calculus I and II (and offers credit for Calculus I through NCCRS), which might be a helpful study resource. Good luck.

Ive tried checking that route as well, but they are all proctored unfortunately. Thanks for the tip though!

there's this, but have no idea if this requires a proctor or not
