UMPI's MAOL. Of course, no one can guarantee you'll complete it in 6 months, but there have been several folks on the Discord who have.

Welcome to the board, it's great you're asking questions to see if there are any programs that fit your needs, but without knowing more info from you and what is requested from the addendum and template, it's hard for people to see the full picture of what you need and what you bring to the table. There are various ways of getting that done, competency based degrees such as the UMPI MAOL might be your best bet. Please review this thread and update us with more details: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works
Update, edit to add: Oh, and also review the sticky thread for programs that may be completed within a year! https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...der-1-Year

ENEB gives letter grades. However it is not accepted as a valid Master's in all countries. If you are in the USA and can use Validential for your purposes then you could go for it. See the wiki. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/ENEB
Complete: 1) Trade school - Hospitality, Bartending. 2) Swedish BA - Japanese. 3) ENEB MA - Hotel, Project Management, MBA. 4) JLPT N1, 120-hour TEFL, TISUS, substitute teacher license
In Progress: 1) WGU MA - Education for teacher licensure. 2) Mastercurssos MA - Child Development. My ENEB ambassador/affiliate links: MBA + Masters or 2 Masters, & 1 Master's or 1 MBA. Can you send me the link to that discord? I would like to ask them some questions (11-13-2024, 01:23 AM)bjcheung77 Wrote: Welcome to the board, it's great you're asking questions to see if there are any programs that fit your needs, but without knowing more info from you and what is requested from the addendum and template, it's hard for people to see the full picture of what you need and what you bring to the table. The only requirement is that i can finish it in 6 months. Obviously, i know thats not a lot of time, but I need it for a program i'm applying to. I also need to get the highest grades possbile on it. The only one I have seen s far is UMPI, so i might have to stick to that.

You haven't provided much details in regards to your undergraduate studies, if you already have a major/subject knowledge, it'll be easier to complete. You also haven't done much research if you only have found UMPI, we already have a WIKI created with a bunch of competency based programs at the masters level. I can list PUG, Walden, UMass Global, and a few that matches what you're looking for... UMPI is a good choice, but without knowing what your undergrad is or even a picture of what the addendum/template shows such as your study habits, there may be better options... HW MBA for 10 exams, non-proctored, if you have no budget!

Not quite 6 months, but the Eastern Washington University MA in History can be completed in 8 months: https://online.ewu.edu/degrees/education...s-history/
If you don’t want a business or education degree, this would certainly be one of the fastest options.

You might also shop around among other CBE programs on the wiki.
How self-paced does it need to be? Are traditionally scheduled courses acceptable if you can opt for a large courseload? They aren't as strictly self-paced as CBE programs like UMPI or WGU, but Eastern University LifeFlex programs and National University "1-on-1" programs are more self-paced as to assignment deadlines than many online courses, within normal terms. |
