MBTI - Which are you?
#1
I just ran across a book about Myers Briggs types and how the different ones perform and behave at work. I'm an INTJ type, and this book had me absolutely pegged. I laughed when I read the last part about suitable careers; they said my type makes good teachers, writers, administrators, and lawyers. I was the training program manager for my shop, I've loved writing all my life and I'm about to start writing freelance, admin was half my job in the service and probably the job I'm going into now, and I'm off to law school next year! Confusedmilelol:

Has anyone else done any MB analysis on themselves?

I'm an INFJ... Which is kinda funny because the career list is
Clergy / Religious Work
Teachers
Medical Doctors / Dentists
Alternative Health Care Practitioners, i.e. Chiropractor, Reflexologist
Psychologists
Psychiatrists
Counselors and Social Workers
Musicians and Artists
Photographers
Child Care / Early Childhood Development

Which I'm going for my Psych degree and planning on going to grad school for psych/counseling, as well as thinking about doing teaching on the side... Wacky... Some of the other careers are definitely not for me though...
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.

Bachelor of Science in PsychoRabbitology degree
Master of Education with a specialty in Rabbit-specific destructive munitions (or eLearning & Technology, I forget which)
Doctor of Philosophy in Wile E. Leadership with an area of specialty in Acme Mind Expansion - 2017 Hopefully

Well, I'm an ENFJ. Me, Bill Clinton, Ron Reagan, and Tony Blair. Hmmmmm, maybe I should go into politics?? Nah, I'm way too honest for that career path. hilarious

I am an INTJ---

One of the top career choices...Lawyer/Attorney...Hmmm...interesting that I've been in the legal field a long time and I am planning for law school in the fall.

It also pegged me as far as personal relationships go...pretty good. :hurray:

Another one of the rare few, destined for the top! cheersmate

Although, one of the things that the book mentioned as a weakness for INTJ types was the tendency for others to perceive us as aloof or snobby. I dunno about you, but I do get that a lot. :o

We use these personality tests in my work; im a ENTJ-Teacher Idealist.

my career indicators are: Social Service, Management, Science/Technical, Public Health. I am working on my social science degree. Love working in pharma, have worked in the medical area for quite awhile. My position is extremely political. Next move is my masters in HR. These things can sum you up pretty well!

character references: Confusedmilelol:
Mikhail Gorbachev, Oprah Winfrey, Pope John Paul II, Ralph Nader, John Wooden, and Margaret Mead are examples of Teacher Idealists.
