I was browsing the ACE database and found these low cost courses from shmoop.com:
ACE CREDIT | The National Guide to College Credit for Workforce Training
Modern European History
US History I
US History II
Shmoop is only 24.95 usd per month and each course is 6 weeks long.

Interesting. Never heard of them before, but it looks like the ACE approval for those three courses started June 1, 2016, so they are relatively new to the ACP world. Wondering how TESU would place the credits?

I was wondering that too... but it should just go into "History" for those three classes. I noticed that they've label some "college" and some "community college".
Even those are not ACE recommended for credit, I think those type of courses are "great for practice testing!" If one can finish those 3 History courses with one subscription, it's like ALEKS, but for history as I don't see a proctored exam requirement, just a course evaluation at 70% or higher! Awesome deal for people looking for 9 credits in History...

I wonder if someone can finish all 3 for 9 credits in 1 months time... it'll be $25/9 credits and the cheapest 9 credits in "History".
From reading their info, it seems so similar to ALEKS for Math... but they've got those ACE credits for History only. Really cool...

I signed up for the 24-hour free trial and cancelled right away (I already have all of these credits on transcripts).
Friends, if you are looking for these credits, they are EXTREMELY manageable.
Self-paced, easy to read but packed with links to details and primary documents, very intuitive format.
You take a series of non-proctored unit tests and a final exam at the end of the course. You must have 70% or more by the end to pass. You get one retake per unit test.
None of this is proctored. Nine credits should be easily doable within a month.
I am stunned, this is a fabulous find. Go grab yourself 9 credits (and learn something too!).

I will say, I wouldn't be surprised if Modern European History transcribed as HIS-102 Western Civilization II at TESU.
