I live in Thailand, and have just been told that the only test centre for CLEP is closing at the end of July. They have allowed me to have one more day of testing in 5 weeks' time. I can take 2 or 3 exams on that day and that's my lot! The trouble is that I am currently on holiday in the UK for the next few weeks with my 3-year-old son and have limited time for study - maybe an hour a day.
So the big question is... what subjects should I choose? I already have the 'easy' ones - Eng Lit, Analysing Lit, College Composition, and Computer Studies. It would seem to make sense to go for a couple of 6-credit subjects, maybe Humanities and History/Social Science but I have no idea how hard they are or whether I have enough time. Or should I go for some subjects with potential for crossover e.g. Intro to Psych, Intro to Ed. Psych or HG&D?
Would appreciate any opinions on this?
Cheers!

Do you need specific tests, or can they be any tests? Are you looking for a specific subject area? Because if you're not, it might be to your advantage to study for tests that have overlap. Are only CLEP tests available, or can you take DSSTs too? Intro to Psych (IC flashcards) and HG&D (REA book). Principles of Management (IC and Cliff's notes) and Principles of Supervision DSST (Peterson's practice tests and free clep prep practice test). I found the DSST Environment and Humanity pretty easy...just used IC flashcards and someone's study guide. Principles of Marketing was fairly easy...only used the REA book for that one, though I would suggest using more than just that. Those are just my thoughts. Hopefully someone else will have other suggestions.
Check out the specific feedback section for any test you choose to take!

Since you travel, do you speak French, German, or Spanish? That's an easy option that might get you credit with minimal or no study, if you've already got the knowledge (or even a rough basis).
Do you have much business experience or knowledge? Prin of Management, Prin of Marketing, and Intro to Business Law could be good companion tests, though if DSSTs are also an option, I'd suggest Intro to Business DSST, Prin of Management CLEP, and either Prin of Supervision DSST or Human Resource Management DSST.
What are your interests, or area of familiarity? The easiest exams for you may not be the same for the next person. Ease is based on existing experience and interest, so...short of recommending our own easiest, we'd need to know a little more about you!

peruse the CLEP drop down menu at freeclepprep.com for a pretty good guide to the exams and their difficulty. Free study guide stuff there too.

It has to be CLEP tests as DSST exams are not available at all right now. They can be any subjects really as I need to get my General Education credits and also my general elective credits. I guess I want to get as many credits as I can in a short time!
I don't speak Spanish so that's not going to be an easy option right now.
I hadn't thought of doing the management ones actually. I did work in business some years ago so they may be a good option. Maybe I'll peruse the flashcards and see how they compare to the psych ones. I've also noticed that some of the CLEP subjects can be done through Straighterline or UExcel instead.
On the subject of UExcel, it looks like they are expanding their range of exams from the end of June so this may also work out to be an option for me.
I'll get on to the freeclepprep website too.
Thanks all for feedback!

The easiest Cleps I took were Psychology, Management and Marketing. Sociology wasn't bad either.
