Looking for advice on Bachelor's Degree

Go for the BSBA CIS if your CS credits transfer in.
I was in a similar boat. I wanted to finish any degree but was nudged in the direction of the BSBA CIS and am so glad I took that route. The degree is a perfect complement to my career and previous education.
I would start CLEPing anything you know you will need. Assume all credits transfer, pick a program, and begin CLEPing immediately.
If it were me, I would avoid Straighterline for anything you can CLEP or DSST out of. CLEP and DSST credits will be accepted by all MBA programs but SL probably will not. The same goes with FEMA. Those are ACE credits and are good as gen eds but may not be accepted as prereqs for a masters program.

TESC have completed my evaluation and I have been using their evaluation tool to see how my credits apply to different degrees and the one that looks like the best fit for me is the BA in Natural Sciences/Mathematics. I was wondering if the CIS credits they have applied to free electives could be included in the major area to satisfy all of my upper level credits? Is that something they would update for me when I enroll?

I also have 5 credits in French which will apply to humanities - they have just not received that transript yet. We have a crazy couple of weeks ahead with family engagements, but I will get started on testing out of what's left.

Wow, it seems like you're nearly done, just with the evaluation. I guess others can chime in on this, but like ryoder said be wary of graduate school requirements. I was going to do the Natural Sciences/Math program until I realized it's actually more of a liberal arts degree, and would make it difficult to get into a good teacher's college for senior level teaching. If you can do it, an actual major is probably the better route. However, we all have different needs, often a degree is enough.

To finish up the gen eds I would consider Straighterline Eng Comp 2 (if you just sign up for a free trial and wait for it to expire they should send you a voucher for $40 off, spend $99 for the month and get cracking)

Take Analyzing and Interpreting Literature CLEP worth 6 credits. With your 5 French that would fulfill the Humanities requirement and knock 5 credits off the gen ed electives. The 6 credit College Math CLEP takes out 6 more leaving you with three gen ed credits to go.

I like either Psychology/Sociology/ or AMerican Governemt (pick 2) to round out your gen ed electives and fill the social science requirement

I would look at 2 UL DSST exams to get you over the 18 UL credit requirement. Perhaps the DSST Intro to Computer systems and Substance Abuse or Organizational Behavior could round out the SS concentration.

1 SL and 4 CLEPs, 4 DSST about $900 and could be done in about a couple of months.


Plan doesn't consider future Masters pre-reqs.

I didn't see the other two...I suspect you are there regarding UL coursework, you have 18 UL credits.

rebel100 that is great news as that leaves me only needing 24 credits and they can all be at lower level, although I am going to pick classes that look interesting no matter what the level, like Substance Abuse. I do have to take at least one class with TESC in order to have my employer reimburse me for the enrollment and graduation fees so I need to look at their catalog and find something that looks interesting. Think hard about Analyzing and Interpreting Literature and College Math...12 credits really fast (and look like they would be easy for you).

Does TESC allow DSST Technical Writing for English Comp 2? That's why I took it at COSC.

Use the schools online advising system to seed how your credits work for the other degree. It will do a pretty good job of putting credits where they are supposed to go. Also call your advisor to talk it through.
