Looking for RA IT/CS/"analytical" degree
#1
I'm a Saleforce developer and I need an analytical graduate degree to get a promotion and raise. I have an unrelated undergrad and no graduate coursework.

Your Location: Cincinnati, OH
Your Age: 34
Currently hold any degree : TESU BA Psychology
What kind of degree do you want? : My job will give a significant raise and promotion if I earn an "analytical" degree. For my company, this means IT, CS, software engineering, data science, cybersecurity, engineering, statistics, mathematics, and related degrees.

I found that PUG's MSIT will give me 6 classes for my CISA cert and another class for my Network+, so it seems like it might be a good option.

Any certifications or military experience?
Salesforce Admin
Salesforce Platform Developer
CISA
Network+
Oracle Database Foundations

Budget: I'd like to keep it under $15k, but I'd consider more.

Commitments:  I currently work full time and have pets.

Dedicated time to study: I can study 2 - 3 hours four nights per week and 5 - 7 hours on weekends.

Timeline: A year would be good, faster is better.

Tuition assistance/reimbursement: $5,000/year, but my employer requires I stay with them for a year for every year they provide assistance. I'm not sure if this is worth it.

Comments: I'm open to pursuing the most cost-effective and expedited degree program. Despite having a wealth of IT experience, I am interested in pursuing a non-IT degree. Currently, I am employed at the Local Social Services - Welfare Agency.

Eastern University - MS in Data Science | Online | $9,900  https://www.eastern.edu/academics/gradua...ta-science

The program was actually designed with those who do not have a STEM background in mind. Our sister site has a very good thread on it, it's a bit long - but at least one graduate posts about completing the program as they went through it - https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?thr...10k.57214/

You might want to take a look at WGU and their Masters offerings as well. Then there are the Masters in Applied Computer Science or similar offered from Public/State institutions, I've written about a couple or more in the grad area.  Here are a few, some can be done in one year, but if you're not in a rush, you can take two years, I would pace yourself and not rush it at all:

It looks like only 5 classes for PUG with the CISA cert -- don't know if it recently changed (PUG has done some of that recently). But regardless, that means that you're already 40 percent done (6 of 15) with the MSIT from PUG...or 4 of 15 with the MS Cybersecurity Management program if you prefer that direction. Both those would be easily doable in 4 or 5 terms max, or no more than about 9 months. If your main purpose for the degree is to get the raise, PUG is possibly the best option in your specific scenario.
