Locking in catalogue
#1
If you enroll with TESU, do you lock in the catalogue for just the degree that enroll with or for any other degrees you might add on later as well?

For example, if you enroll in the BS-CIS and then, 2 years later, decide to switch to the BACS, would you then be on the old catalogue year for the new degree, or would the clock reset to the current catalogue on the date that you add the degree?

The catalog lock only applies to enrolled degree programs. If you decide to change or modify your programs, the current catalog version will apply. If you do not maintain enrollment, you may lose your catalog lock.
Thus, we recommend that you add all degrees and certificates you are interested in to your official programs list with academic advising. You can always drop or ignore things later if you're not going to finish them.

Thanks for your fast response.

Also, even though you can only graduate with 2 Bachelor's degrees from TESU, can you enroll in 3 Bachelor's degrees and decide which one to drop at a later date?

Officially, you're only supposed to be enrolled in two bachelor's degrees, with a maximum of two areas of study per degree. However, advising may allow you to have three or more in the system. You'd have to specify that you're currently undecided, and want to see the evaluation results of the programs before making a decision on which two to proceed with. Advising let me to do that in the past.

Basically, at most, TESU allows 2 Associates, 2 Bachelors, and a number of Certificates is all you can have added to TESU program list, they'll allow you to temporarily have a third degree added, but after a month or two, it will be removed from your program list as they want you to 'make sure' those are the two you wanted. You can make changes to the major anytime you want as long as you're in the same degree/school, you'll keep the catalog year if enrollment is active. Inactivity expires after 3 years, 5 for military.

Note: For example, if you add a BALS now, you can change that to the BACS later on, you will keep the catalog year as long as your enrollment is active. Once the enrollment is not active and expired (can't be reactivated under the old catalog), you'll be moved over to the newer year. You can't change that from a BALS to a BSBA, they'll make you change to the current catalog year. For most degrees, this shouldn't matter anymore after 2020/2021, all the newer catalog years will have the same requirements.
