Limit On Degrees
#1
I'm finding a lot of wonderful information on this forum. I've started to make a list of what schools I want to go to and what degrees to get. There was something I read a few minutes ago that threw a wrench into my plans. TESU limits students to two Bachelors degrees. Are there limits at other schools? I tried searching the forum but couldn't find the answer. I'm not sure where to look on each school's website.

The schools I've been looking at are TESU, UMPI, SNHU, WGU, PUG, Pierpont, Excelsior, Peirce, COSC.

If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!

This info is not always on a college's website. When I was enrolled at Excelsior, it took my advisor a week to find out that they really wouldn't let me complete a second bachelor's degree.

UMPI will let you complete 2 bachelor's degrees. There are different rules based on which degrees.

What degrees do you want to complete? Why multiple degrees? Personal or career? Would a master's in one of those fields be more beneficial?

A few policies:

COSC Second Baccalaureate Policy
Excelsior Additional Degree Pursuit at the Same or Lower Academic Level (but practical difficulties have been reported)
SNHU Degree and Certificate Requirements (see section Second (or subsequent) Undergraduate Degrees)
UMGC Policy: Degree Completion for a Bachelor's Degree (see section Second Bachelor Degree Requirements)
UMPI Catalog: Academic Policies
WGU Student Policy Handbook: Second Degree Matriculation

Technically, TESU limits you to four Bachelor's degrees. It's a pair of two degrees. That is, something like BA Psych and BA English count as a single degree when obtained and graduated simultaneously. The pairs must come from the same school. BS Information Technology, BSBA Marketing, and BA Computer Science would count as three degrees because they're all from different schools.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

@somechick, Welcome to the board... you may want to be more clear on exactly what you're trying to do, for example, give us an idea of what you need/want to take for associates, bachelors or if you need to go further with a Masters later on.  Here's just an example, you want to be exact, for kicks, I'll list a random option of mine, everyone is going to be different, you want to have provide more details...

Associates: Pierpont BOG AAS with an emphasis in Info Systems, UMPI AALS with a generic emphasis or minor.
Bachelors: UMPI BAS with a triple minor in Management, MIS, PM, then an UMPI BA History
Masters: WGU MSML and MBA combo because there are overlapping classes

I highly suggest you fill in the addendum/template here so we know your full overview and what you bring to the table, we can then help you further by knowing or having a better picture of what you're looking for. With more details such as your budget, commitments, study habits, tuition assistance, etc, it'll be easier for us to provide concrete advice.
