One glaring issue however, is despite upgrading to v4.2, the admin still didn't enable mobile view in the control panel, so this site is still not usable on mobile phones and tablets.

4.2.5 is the current 4.x version if you don't want to jump to 5.x, and this forum is on a very vulnerable (security-wise) 4.2.0. It'll be nice to finally catch up after this update happens.
