Learner.org what series did you use for which CLEP
#1
Hi folks, I'm using Learner.org - Teacher Professional Development to watch some video while on the treadmill each morning currently I'm working slowly towards U.S History 1 CLEP and I'm viewing learners making of America and Biography of America.

For my Applied economics I used economics U$A which has recently updated

Can you list the exams you took using learners resources and how helpful you found their information

I used Resource: A Biography of America for US History 1 & 2 and Resource: The Western Tradition for Western Civ 1 & 2. I didn't go thru the whole series, just watched videos on whatever topics I needed help understanding. The videos were helpful in explaining concepts and tying it all together.

I used Biography of America for US History I. I was going to take US History II also, but I didn't need it. The series was great for the test since the test was more about context than remembering dates. I also supplemented with the IC flashcards. I watched Discovering Psychology and used a couple of other resources for the Intro to Psychology CLEP. That series paired with Abnormal Psychology made all of my psychology/counseling tests easy. Seasons of Life and Death: A Personal Understanding aren't worth watching for test taking. They aren't meant to teach anything; they're just there to show people's experiences. I tried watching Physics for the 21st Century, but you need to know calculus to even understand what's going on. Algebra: In Simplest Terms helped me pass the ALEKS assessment for Intermediate Algebra. Thank goodness because learning on ALEKS is a long, drawn out process.

I noticed that I said Physics for the 21st Century. I meant to say The Mechanical Universe. That's the more technical series on physics and it covers a lot of calculus.
