Lawshelf.com used to get recommended on here a lot because it was $35 per NCCRS 3-credit-recommended course, and you could view the course videos without paying. I looked at the website today and now its $240 per course, and there doesn't look like there's a way to even preview a course now, much less view the videos for free.
Oh well!

$240 per course? Wow that seems like a lot considering the courses aren't accepted by a ton of colleges. I wondered if it still existed because it used to be talked about quite a bit on here. The increase in cost could be why no one talks about it anymore.

I suspect at this point Lawshelf mainly exists to transfer credit to National Paralegal College/Crestpoint University. If my suspicion is correct, that is a pretty strong disincentive to low fees. The goal is probably to price Lawshelf at a price point where it attracts people to NPC/Crestpoint and drives new enrollments, but doesn't do too much harm to the NPC/Crestpoint side of the business.

It was always on my "check it out later" list. Now is later, but I'm not interested in checking it out at that cost. I'd totally buy a package at the old price. It must not have been sustainable for them, or they figured out this pricing would be the same amount of income for them with less work and/or expenditure on hosting costs.
