Does anyone know how Excelsior's latin honors system works? I'm wondering about the cut-off GPA's of each and what requirements they have with regard to how many credits have to come from Excelsior directly thru exams and courses. Not a big deal to me, but it does give something to strive for.
-Need 6 more credits for Excelsior College BS in General Business
-Tested out of 46 credits to date
Credits to finish:
Operations Mgmt-CSU-Pueblo MGMT 311
Business Policy- CSU Pueblo MGMT 485 or TESC exam???

Hi hunter2115,
For a Bachelor Degree:
- There is NO "in-house" credit requirement of any kind at Excelsior.
- You must have a minimum of 30 "graded" credits to be eligible.
Summa Cum Laude (3.9+)
Magna Cum Laude (3.75-3.89)
Cum Laude (3.5-3.74)
For an Associates Degree:
- No in-house credit requirement.
- Minimum of 20 graded credits
Highest Honors (3.9+)
High Honors (3.75-3.89)
Honors (3.5-3.74)
Hope that helps,
Snazzlefrag

Do they round up? Say you have a 3.46 would they maybe round up to 3.5?
