I am set to take my Intro to World Religion test in two days, I have been studying hard and praying for a passing grade.
Does anyone have any last minute tips or advice for me? What to focus on in my studies these last 2 days?
I have a few questions that I am not 100% sure about such as Ghandi's mission and what is was? (I think it was to rid Britian of India, but not sure)
What countries held India in their power over time?
What case system Buddah was born into?
Which reconstruction allow female rabbis? Which Jewish sect cannot?
Which are the most popular in the states?
The centuries Mhammad (6th?), Buddah (4bc?) and Confucius were born in?
Which Christian denomination is the largest ad second largest?
Who the Indian Sun Dance worships?
What the Nicene Creed was aimed at clarifying?
Again thanks to everyone on this amazing site, if not for you I wouldn't even have the courage to study or take a chance on these tests which would have seemed impossible to pass.

You shouldn't sweat it. As long as you know the IC stuff down, you should do just fine. I found some Christian Orthodox stuff in there too but it was pretty easy. Good luck!

I have been studying that but so hard with all the meanings of words that are hard to memorize. Real nervous about this test.
A few more questions if anyone could kindly answer.
Which section should I focus the majority of my studies on?
How did Islam spread?
How Buddism and Confucism are similar?
Was Muhammed born in the 4th century AD CE or the 6th?
Which protestand religion has the most followers?
What books make up the five classics?
Anything else helpful

I did the following for this test:
1. Read the Complete Idiot's Guide to World Religion
2. Took the DSST practice exam
3. Checked the list of items covered in one of those test books sold on eBay, and used that to develop study notes of my own, which involved a few hours on the Internet, especially Wikipedia
4. Took the practice test a second time
5. Re-read the Idiot's Guide section on Islam
6. Took the test
This test is more challenging due to the scope of material rather than its depth. It sounds like you'll do OK.

Thank you for the reply.
Sounds like you did alot of studying and preparing. I'm not sure where teh DSST practice exam is.
Now people say it's a broad test, could someone give me a sample of a few questions that may be asked or in the way they are asked?

The DSST practice exam is the Peterson's exam--- it's on the Air Force website.
US Air Force - Education and Library Resource Center - Test Prep Register - use the code FL5518 -- and take the exams. Best wishes!

At the DSST website, they had $20 practice exams when I took the test. While most folks don't care for them, I found them helpful.
It's not as much broadly asked questions as it is a broad array of content. You're not studying one religion; you're studying half a dozen or more, across a number of continents, each with their own unique effects on the cultures/governments/societies they touched.
