I am currently scheduled to take this test on October 30, 2013. I am unsure about whether 12 days is enough time to prepare for it and pass. I will use the education portal videos. Do you think that's enough time given my first Peterson's score or should I push it back?
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.

When I took this test, I spent about 2 weeks of study on it. I used the education-portal videos, peterson practice tests, Official CLEP study guide, free-clep-prep.com, and the IC Flashcards. I felt that the best 2 resources were the videos and flashcards. I ended up with a 71. If you put in a decent amount of study over the next 12 days, I don't see why you would need to reschedule. Also, using the process of elimination is very helpful on this test.
Hope that helps.

I spent two solid days doing IC's flashcards for this and passed (I only studied the first 2-3 sets). Definitely study more than I did. IC is all you need in my opinion. I've posted more about this elsewhere.

That's awesome soliloquy! You are so close! You must be so excited! I heard this test is one of the easiest because it's common sense. I am supposed to take this CLEP on Thursday, but I might have to push it back because I didn't finish all the Education Portal Videos and I don't want to mess with a system that's been working for me. If I should take it, I'll post tips. This should be my second to last alternative credit test before I get my BSN.
Speaking of which...you don't happen to be in the Nursing Program for TESC - or are happen to know if this class meets the Gen Ed requirements for TESC do you?
Feel free to private message me.
Best of Luck!

This is one of the easiest exams you will ever find for college credit. My only prep was to browse over some vocabulary for an hour or so, since my stab at the official practice questions showed me that most of the answers came down to common sense + test taking strategies. The actual test was no different- no tricks, no loops thrown, little equivocation. Barely any prep and I got a 70. Given how high your other scores are, this is NOT a test you should be biting your nails over. If you are prepared, you will destroy it.
