Do grades from Excelsior exams or old DSSTs appear on Charter Oak official transcripts? If so, are they used for GPA calculations by LSAC & Charter Oak?

Excelsior considers UExcel exams as residency credit, and my understanding is that because Excelsior assigns them a letter grade, LSAC will want an Excelsior transcript and they therefore will count towards your LSAC recalculated GPA.
For DSST, while LSAC doesn't mention them on their website specifically, here's what they say about CLEP: Quote:Advanced Placement (AP) or College Level Examination Programs (CLEP)(emphasis added). So, in my educated guess (without any real direct confirmation from LSAC on my end), UExcel/ECE exams will always be calculated by LSAC, and DSST exams will depend on how Charter Oaks includes DSST on your transcripts -- which is likely pass/fail (meaning no negative impact on the LSAC GPA if you passed), but someone else will have to confirm how older DSST exams show on COSC transcripts, that's something I'm unfamiliar with. For this reason, even though I have no real desire or realistic hope to attend law school, I've avoided UExcel exams ![]()

No, I just wanted to know if anyone has experience going to law school with a Charter Oak degree.

I just did a quick search of the California Bar Association and found a few folks from Thomas Edison. No easily found folks from Charter Oaks, though. But that's just one state, from a not very in-depth search, haha. I guess not very helpful.
