Hello I am just starting my degree at Excelsior in the Bachelor of Science in Business. In layman’s terms can anyone help me streamline my degree into the simplest and easiest route. I am wanting to test out of as much classes as I can, and willing to use many methods to do so. Thank you any help is appreciated

What are your reasons for going to Excelsior instead of TESU?

Excelsior was the first online college I looked into. I’m trying to get this over with as quickly as possible. Do you suggest TESU over Excelsior?

Which version? General Business?

Yes, general
This map looks easy to me? Tons of CLEP/DSST/UExcel/TECEP exams for almost all of these.

I think the main advantage of TESU is its been a little cheaper than Excelsior because of some of the partnership discounts with providers like study.com. However that could (probably will) change soon. The second advantage is there are more members on this forum who are familiar with TESU. When changes are made or you run into a snag its quicker and easier to get feedback here than even going to TESU directly. Again, this could change if TESU makes changes to their degree programs or rates. You might see a migration of more students going over to one of the other Big 3. Normally, if someone were transferring over a lot of credits I would recommend getting evaluations done at all of the Big 3 schools to see which one has fewer requirements. However, in your case, the classes you've taken will transfer into any of them so its just a matter of investing all 3 and seeing what fits best for you.

tobyisking, for some reason my dyslexia got the best of me and I was trying to find out what to.by.isking was, until now. Anyways, if it was a few years ago, say a dozen or so, I would have recommended Excelsior over TESU and COSC as they were ICABE accredited. However, that has changed since 2016 and for three main reasons.
1) Secondary/Programmatic Accreditation - TESU is now ACBSP, Excelsior is ICABE (lesser known) accredited in the business programs.
2) Easier/more options for finding 18 UL requirements in the AOS and professional business/general education requirements vs 30 UL requirements at Excelsior.
3) They changed their name! Yes, from a college to university. Excelsior is still a college and the name isn't as appealing to me.

Thank you so much for your help. I think going with TESU might be a better option. Does anyone have any recommendations for their business program, or ran into any snags?
