Juggling the big 3 (degree plan/path) - bit long

DSST - The Civil War and Reconstruction (HIS-252) - this is UL from ACE, but TESU brings it in as LL for some reason
Study.com - HIS 106: The Civil War & Reconstruction (HIS-252)
Study.com - HIS 306: The American Civil War Era (HIS-450)

Study.com - HIS 108: History of the Vietnam War (HIS-246)
DSST - A History of the Vietnam War (HIS-351)
Study.com - HIS 308: Causes & Effects of the Vietnam War (HIS-351)

DSST - History of the Soviet Union (HIS-386)

So yes, some duplicate, you have to be certain which ones you take don't.

Here's the reply I received from EC

"Hi,
Well, 12 of them are going to be your remaining depth courses so I would start there. You need two Upper level courses in History and two in the Health Sciences.

You can find a list of courses at: https://www.excelsior.edu/courses-and-exams
You can filter by course type and department.

You also need the Capstone and an Ethics course which are also Upper level. That will be two additional and will give you about 10-12 UL remaining. Those will be either elective that you can choose or we can discuss you doing more Health Sciences or History to get an Area of Focus instead of a Depth.

In terms of transferable courses, there is no way to provide you with any kind of list. There are literally thousands of schools and we don't have a database that shows all the Upper level courses, it would be impossible to maintain.

If you have a school near you, and want to look at Upper level courses they have, we can tell you if they would meet our requirements.

I would remind you, that under your Partnership agreement, you are required to take at least 12 credits at Excelsior.

Let me know if you have other questions.
Patrick"

So my ethics course doesn't count outside of free electives. I need a ton of UL courses at EC and an information literacy.
1. Prep Phase: Hopeless, 15 credits, need a BA fast, never heard of TESU
2. TESU BALS: 121/120 (9 months)

3. RN Paramedic Bridge - Excelsior (9 months + CPNE wait)
4. WGU RN -> BSN
5. BSN -> MSN/FNP

I've been doing a ton of thinking today. I've been going back and forth on the items I have left with TESU and EC. I have more overall credits with EC, but there are a ton of UL outstanding. They also want a UL Ethics class, and concentrations of study for UL.

I'm already paid up on my TESU capstone, and I can complete MOST of my remaining LLs at Straighterline, and my ULs with Study.com and DSST, whereas EC seems more elusive and with the Health Sciences requirements in UL it may be hard to meet those requirements.

I think I might abandon EC and stick with TESU. That said, I still have 8 days to make a decision before I need to withdrawl from TESU's capstone.

What is the "partnership agreement"? Does EC require all students to get 12 UL credits at EC?

It looks like I am going with TESU. EC just couldn't get my eval and plan in time together unfortunately, because I was very much considering it as an option. My LIB495 Capstone starts April 2 with Peck.

Re: partnership agreement, I honestly don't know what that means.

Hey everyone! Monthly check-in update here:

I started my capstone at TESU, and it's a lot harder than I expected. I didn't do great on my first assignment.

I had my academic evaluation update from TESU as well, and I've attached my spreadsheet here. I have a few open spots left, anyone have some suggestions on some easy classes I could bang out online to fill those gaps? Sorry if it's hard to read, I have to color code to be able to process information, and I am color-blind to boot. So my spreadsheets can get ugly!

Pharmacology will not come in as Gen Ed, those are Developmental-level courses, so not college level, and TESU won't bring them in at all.

I can't imagine taking Business Law voluntarily, but maybe that's just me.

It looks like you like History? If so, I would look at:

HIS 311: The Holocaust and WWII (HIS-354) - UL, can replace PSY312

HIS 106: The Civil War & Reconstruction (HIS-252) - lots of duplication with HIS-450
HIS 102: Western Civilization II (HIS-102)
HIS 105: US History from Settlement to Present Day (??)
HIST 307: American Civil Rights Movement (?? - lower level last I checked)
HIST 309: War & American Society (?? lower level last I checked)

I've been plugging away on my TESU capstone and only have 3 more submissions total left. I'm nearly done the Capstone and the entire BA process.

That said I'm starting to get some fatigue here. I have 24 units left that are planned out. To this point I had been trying to complete everything online. I am starting to run out of energy and patience. I failed a study.com course by 1%, and ran out of exam attempts. I have to wait 13 days until I can convert to a paid account to re-try and finish it. Then I have 5 more classes laid out to complete with study.com. I'm also getting really sick of the study.com exams not representing material learned during the course.

I'm also running out of money. My wife is now out of work, and we were using her income as the main driver for all of my classes. I took advantage of coupons and discounts for SL, but Sophia and Study.com don't really have good deals like that. So now I am wondering how I am going to finish the last few courses, and pay the grad fee.

Anyway this is more just a vent and an update at the same time.

Congrats! How much is the grad fee with the credit card charges?
What other options were there for payment for the residency waiver fee?
Goals: TESU BSBA GM (Added CIS) and BA Computer Science
BSBA GM - Added CIS AOS (CIS & GM completed)
BACS & Grad Plans (BACS instead of BALS w/NSM)

AAS ACS & ESST: Remaining - Associate Capstone
ASNSM CS: Completed, ASNSM Math: Remaining - Calculus I

Taking a majority of credits at Sophia.org, SL, and Study.com to finish these degrees
Updating my courses remaining by following forum advice, guide, spreadsheet & wiki
