(formerly known as staceyelle but I lost my password and couldn't remember which email address I had used...)
It's been a minute, but I've been working from home in the last year. I took a break after my Sophia classes and then I did some TEEX stuff. I completed Cybersecurity for Everyone and Cybersecurity for IT Professionals, and now I am working on the last one.
I'm moving to West Virginia, so it's cool that I'm going with Pierpont. I sent all of my transcripts off to Nancy Parks and I am waiting to hear back from her. I'll be about 2.5 hours from Pierpont when I move, so I could actually graduate in person.
After I get Pierpont done, I don't know what I want to do. I'm still considering Excelsior and TESU (though I'll no longer be an NJ resident, lol) but I am also looking at doing the Regents Bachelor of Arts at Shepherd University, since it's close to where I am moving. I'm not sweating it now because the move is what I am focusing on currently.
My focus when I last posted was psychology but now I'm content with just a plain old liberal arts degree.
My stepkids (*triplets*) graduated from high school and they're all going to the community and technical college in the area where we are moving (they moved out of the house already and are in WV.)
Anyway, I just wanted to say hey and thanks to everyone for all their help.

@staceydiane, Welcome back... I would suggest you email or PM the administrator/webmaster to see if they can merge your accounts or reset the password for the initial account if needed... https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/User-sgloer
What emphasis are you going for at Pierpont? I suggest you go the Pierpont to UMPI route on the WIKI, you can take courses that will lead to a BLS with a minor of your choice because any WV RBA requires 24 credits from a WV institution total (and 12 from the institution you intend to grad from): https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Pierpont_C%26TC
If you're looking into other fields instead of Psychology, you might want to try getting the UMPI BAS by getting 40+ technical credits free using Coursera/TADA since you're taking TEEX Cybersecurity courses already, instructions are here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...egree_Plan
If Psych is your true calling, (after all is said and done with your BAS or BLS if you decide that route for a first bachelors and then come back for a BA Psych, or if you prefer, skip everything and just get the BA Psych), you can go for their BA Psych they will release soon, https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...egree_Plan

I want to have Information Systems (I think that's what it is) as my AOE at Pierpont since I took a couple of the Sophia computer classes combined with TEEX. I had forgotten to mention that along with TEEX, I am taking the Google IT certificate at TADA/Coursera right now.
I'm considering all of my options, though, and I do have UMPI bookmarked on my laptop along with the others, lol.
Once I move, I'm going to enroll in the Peer Recovery Support Specialist program that they have at several of the WV community colleges. It's a short class but I feel that I would be a much better peer specialist than case manager. It also offers 3 transferable credits, so that's good. I took a similar class here in NJ two years ago, but I didn't get my internship hours due to lack of funding.
I think I might end up as a career student, ha ha! I was thinking of coming back and doing the Psychology (or another) degree later. Right now, a check the box degree would be fine with me.

Howdy y'all!
Nancy emailed me today and said that I have met all the BOG degree requirements. She sent me the graduation application!
I'm so happy. For years, I never thought I could get a degree and here I am. Onward and upward!
Thanks to everyone here for all their advice and tips. It means a lot.

Thanks! First, I'm taking a break until after the move to WV. We put our house on the market the other day! There is a limited inventory in our neighborhood so we are hopeful that it will sell pretty quickly.

I got an email from Lisa Phillips, the registrar, and she asked Nancy Parks to prepare a degree audit for me. She also said that I have 88 credits. Well, I know I am terrible at math, but I didn't think I had THAT many.

Wow, congrats again, if you have 88 credits already that can transfer entirely into UMPI BLS, you've got just the final 10 courses required for their degree... I know there will be other requirements such as the language and science lab, if you have those complete, you'll be 3/4ths the way done with UMPI already!
