You need to learn about the different methods of getting credit. The cheapest are the free ones (there are about 11cr that are free), and then ALEKS math (go take them quick before they expire on 8/31) and then Saylor. After that, most courses through SL or Study.com average about $100 each - but if you take more courses in a month, you can cut that down. SL also has coupons available almost always. Study.com has the Guardian scholarship, for 6 free courses.
Woah.. so I just enrolled in ALEKS yesterday for college algebra... Should I finish that course before the 31st then and transfer it to ACE?? I applied for TESU but have not officially enrolled yet..

Here's the scoop. ALEKS has been teetering on the brink of losing their ACE recommendations for coming up on a year. They've been expiring each month, then being extended another month. This can't go on forever, eventually they will be expired and no longer ACE recommended, or they will get approved for a normal length of time. If you CAN finish before the 31st, then by all means do so. If you can't, there's a chance you'll be able to finish it next month.
The timing has nothing to do with your status at TESU.
