You will have to wait the allotted time (used to be six months between clep tests), but I think it might have changed to three months. Once the time has elapsed you can retake the exam, pass it and get the credit you want to be transferred to TESC.

Six months is the standard time you need to wait before retaking the same test title, and the computer system does pay close attention to the date. The only way you can decrease the time to 3 months is if your college/university waives the 6-month retake period. There are specific directions the school must follow and this must be done before you retake the test. All DSST exams have a 3-month retake period.

I am unable to wait the six months. Is there anything else I can do? Is there a way that I can have them accept it because I am confident that the two points off that I am with my score occurred while the computer froze twice.

You are correct on both counts, although I don't believe a school can waive the waiting period for retakes.

You can try to appeal, but don't get your hopes up. If the computer froze but still gave you the total allotted time, they aren't going to budge.

If you aren't allowed to retake it (and if they do, they could make you wait), then you'll have to accept the failure and move on.

There's no harm in asking them but I can almost guarantee that they will not budge on this. You have to get the minimum score which TESC and ACE both set it at for the exam in order to transfer it in. You could take the course through Straighterline if you can't wait the 6 months for a retake.
