Is it advisable for me to take clep composition in this situation?

Hello all,
I am new to this forum. I have started taking cleps to earn some college credits of late. I have cleared three examinations already without much difficulty and have scheduled CLEP composition exam for the 31st of this month, i.e, the day after tomorrow. I haven't started preparing seriously yet. My plan is as follows:
i) Going through instantcert flashcards for today to face the MCQs
ii) Working on a couple of essays tomorrow after skimming over some tips on how to write good essays
Although, I have answered English exams many times before, I am not sure how CLEP is particularly different from the rest. If not on 31st, I won't be able to take the test again, mulling over all the things mentioned, what would your advice be? Must I take the test or not?

When i took the Freshman College Composition exam years ago, I used the Purdue OWL to study with. It was a good summary of basic knowledge for english comp like citing references, structure, etc.

The IC cards will be good but I would do more then just look up some tips on how to write a good essay. Make sure you actually take some time and practice writing some timed essays.
You may also want to take a Practice test or two.
