Im running into a problem with my CC credits, I have over 80 and 80 is all I can send to TESC for credit. I was thinking about doing ACCT1 ACCT2 and MICRO ECON through StraighterLine, but I'm worried they won't accept my credits. I saw earlier posts about FHSU transcribing credits so they could transfer without any problems and thought it may work for me, any idea if they still do that and what the process is?
Thanks

No they stopped that a few months ago. It's called credit laundering. FHSU was the last who did it. Straighterline is not considered a community college. It's a company that sells ACE courses. TESC will accept them if they are on an ACE transcript. TESC has a cap limit with ACE credit ranging from 90 credit max on ACE recommended courses for the bachelor degree. Why won't you take the courses at Straighterline, transfer it to your ACE transcript and wala. You don't need FHSU for this.

It seems like you might be misunderstanding the credit transfer rules. While TESC has limits on what they will accept in transfer, just because you have 80 credits, that doesn't mean TESC would necessarily accept or use all of those 80 credits. You can transfer in more credits then TESC will apply only the credits that are applicable, so don't limit your options because it is very rare when a college accepts all of the credits a student has in transfer. Good luck!
