Is CIS still a BSBA or it´s now a different degree?

I know this is an old thread, I’m just curious if anyone has confirmed if the BSBA-CIS name has been changed to BS-CIS even though the requirements have stayed the same?

I moved to the latest catalog to get the new name. In every TESU system, my program now shows up as BS CIS. We'll see what ends up on my final transcript when I graduate in December.

Curious to know too. I'm doing the BSBA in both Accounting and CIS. My programs show as

Degree: BS in Business Administration
Major: Accounting
Department: Accounting
and
Degree: Bachelor of Science
Major: Computer Information Systems
Department: Business Administration.

Not sure what to expect when I'm finished. I imagine just a BSBA, but who knows.

It’s BS CIS
And BS Accounting if you’re doing the CPA track.

That’s what I’m doing

That's exactly what it is showing you, Bachelors of Science, Business Administration, Area of Study is Accounting, CIS, or whatever you're deciding to select from. It's just their formatting and naming on the evaluation tool, it's the same degree and requirements, unless you're on previous catalog years without the CSM requirement and less electives, etc.

Sounds to me like they’ve changed it, yeah it’s still just a business degree but it reads differently as BS-CIS.You mind posting an update once you officially graduate jch?

Sure thing. I'm curious myself what will eventually get printed and recorded.

They changed the name before this new eval tool. There are BSBAs and BSs.
CIS and cpa track were changed to BS.

BSBA is still all the others. Marketing , hr ect.

I'm curious what my future diploma will say since I'm going for one that is still a BSBA and one that is now a BS. I'm sure it will still just be one degree, but which?

That’s a good question.  Are you doing a dual degree or 1 degree with 2 aos ?

I already have a ba from tesu. So where they only allow 2 total bachelors I’m going for 2 aos. So I’m assuming mine will say
Bachelor of science accounting and Computer Information Systems. Accounting is listed as my first aos
