I took the Intro to Psych test a few weeks ago and got a 50, but my school requires us to get a 54 for the score to be accepted. I guess I'm sort of freaking out with 48 hours until they let me retake it... does anyone have any advice as to resources, mach tests, etc? I've been doing the flash cards, but I'm wondering how many more questions I have to get right to get the 54? I came so close last time, and I'm scared that I'll be a tad short again.

A few weeks ago? College Board has a 6 month period before you can retake it. Any sooner than that if you're caught nullifies the score...
Quote:Repeating Examinations
You may not repeat an examination of the same title
within six months of the initial testing date. If you
retake the examination within the six-month period, your
administration
will be considered invalid, your score will be
canceled and any test fees will be forfeited.

Same for the
Uexcel TestQuote:NOTE: You will have a six-month eligibility window in
which you may schedule and take your exam.

Yes I know that.... I just need to pass it to get on my transcript to get my BA. It's the last class I need and hour limits did not permit me to actually take the class. So, they're letting me re-do it off the record to achieve the higher score and get the degree. Does that make sense? It won't go on file with the national CLEP place, but it will be on my record for the BA.

No, because that's fraudulent. Shrug.
Its not an official score, so technically you're *not* getting the credits required by your school to graduate. If your school is going to be shady about this, they may as well just put a note in your file saying that they've made a one time only exception to their policy and are accepting the score of 50 for you. At least that way you wouldn't be getting a letter in 10 years stating that you in fact really haven't finished your degree.

to answer your question about what you can study. I would highly recommend the free peterson practice tests (do a search on here for the link). There are 3 of them for intro to psych and these practice tests are very close to the real thing. what you score on them is very close to how well you know the material. they also give the rationale for the correct answer so that will help you study. also check the specific exam feedback of this forum-- you have to be a paying member ($20 a month) to access that information but there are posts in there from people who have taken the test and zero in on what helps the most. hope this helps!
