Does CS101 introduction to computer science at saylor transfer over as Intro to Programming at TESU? I checked the BACS wiki and don’t see it there but I have seen it mentioned in older threads. I’m having a tough time with CS109 on study.com so I was looking for an alternative way to fulfill intro to programming.
Edit: After further reading I see that saylor.com is even harder to pass than SDC. What about onlinedegree.com?

The OnlineDegree one has a reputation for being a bit... strange. Some of the exam questions may be things like "what did the presenter talk about in the third video?" but there are no videos during the exam and you just have to guess. At only $10, though, it might be worth a shot.
What difficulties are you having with Study.com? With clarification of points, continuing on with CS109 might be easiest in the long run.

Introduction to Programming in Python thru Sophia Learning transfers in as ITS-150, 3 credits (if taken prior to 04/20/25, via ACE transcript) and would apply towards the Section A, Programming requirement of your program (planned as ITS-150)

The wiki is only as good as the reports that get received. This is the first time I've seen anyone mention what Intro to Programming in Python actually transfers in as. I expected it was COS-205.

I was just about to reply to you with that comment quoted to see what you thought
I will ask my advisor to make double sure it transfers and report back.

“ The Sophia Learning course Intro to Programming in Python does transfer into TESU as ITS-150 (must complete course by 4/30/2025) and yes it will fulfill the Intro to Programming requirement.”
Good to go!

Study.com's Intro to Programming is easy to pass. All you need is 55% on the final to pass, considering you score 100% on the quizzes.
This is why it's recommended you do Intro to Programming at Study.com
- When you complete SDC Intro to Programming, 1/2 of the Data Structures course is automatically done.
- Data Structures is taught in Java
- The assignment in Data Structures is in Java
- Computer Architecture has some questions on the final in Java
Since Python is so popular, it is a good idea to learn Python as well, but I would do that after learning Java.

On the other hand, the final questions are word for word duplicates of the in-course quiz questions, so it's not exactly a hard course. That wasn't the case for other OD courses I took, though.
